More Arashi lyrics by request - my first Sho solo translation this time, Anti Anti. The title was originally Unti Unti but changed in later years, which is a good thing since 'unti' spelled with kana would be ウンチ and ahem anyway. I'm guessing it was originally meant to be "anti anti" anyway, as in "anti-Arashi" or "anti-hiphop" and stuff, considering the "screw you, haters!" tone of the lyrics.
I also had a request for Pen no Sasu Houkou, specifically chapter III, but I can't find the kanji lyrics anywhere. :x If anyone knows where they might be, let me know!
Arashi (Sakurai Sho) - Unti Unti / Anti Anti
Mata kaidan noboru tori ga habataku you ni
Kawa no nagare sakarau hitogomi kakiwake
Kono makki shoujou hana sakasu kichinto ichirin no
Masshiroi canvas ni egaku sara ni dekaku
Mada mawaru chikyuu wa
Mawaru kawariyuku machinami
Mou tomarazu (saisoku de ubaitoru)
Sora takaku (idol ga dore hodo ka misete yaru yo)
I'll go! You just wait
I must run on the way
It's not over yet
I must run on my way
Sono toki made sono saki made
Ah mou ii gaiya damatte na
Soko no nomiya de IZM katatte na
Maru de tannee na tateru antenna
Kimira miteru no sore wa asatte dattenda
How many girls did you get?
Ore wa kondake ninzuu iru ze
Takaga idol fuzei ga title ubaitoru
Saisoku de ubaitoru
I'll go! You just wait
I must run on the way
It's not over yet
I must run on my way
There's no need to know
What may happen to me
There's no need to stop
I want to look for me
Sono toki made sono saki made
(Spoken lines in the beginning)
Guy1: Arashi? Nah, I'm not interested.
Guy2: I don't know if I'd call Johnny's hip hop...
Sho: Then I'll show you what an idol is made of!
I'm gonna climb the stairs again, like a bird taking flight
Go against the river's flow, push through the crowd
Even in this terminal state, I can still make this one flower bloom
I'll paint on a pure white canvas, bigger and bigger
As the earth is still spinning
The face of the town keeps on changing
I won't stop (gonna be the fastest to take it)
High into the sky (I'll show you what an idol is made of)
I'll go! You just wait
I must run on the way
It's not over yet
I must run on my way
Until that time, until I get there
All right, you guys on the sidelines, keep quiet
Talk about your IZMs in that bar there
That antenna you're holding up is nowhere near enough
I told you guys, what you're watching for comes the day after tomorrow
How many girls did you get?
I've got all these fans
And I stole the title in that "just an idol" style you look down on
Faster than any of you
I'll go! You just wait
I must run on the way
It's not over yet
I must run on my way
There's no need to know
What may happen to me
There's no need to stop
I want to look for me
Until that time, until I get there
...And I'm pretty sure his use of IZM was referring to isms. As in the suffix -ism. The Japanese seem to like attaching it to random words (kinda like Americans do, really XD).

I really like your translations/interpretations, so this is awesome :D
Thanks for the romaji/translation~. :D
I love this song so much and the translated lyrics just enhance the feeling I get while listening to it. :3

I must run on the way
It's not over yet

Sono toki made... sono saki made...
It all makes sense now, after 4 incredible years! "Sono toki" did really come, in the end... *__*
thank you so much for the translation..<3
What I love about japanese songs, when you translated it in english, it always has a deep meanings. ^_^
I've wanted this song translated since the first time I heard it [still a newbie-Arashi fan, but still], it's like my favorite solo song x_x
Again, thank you :D :D :D
And really, who better to sing a song like this than Sho, who has mentioned in interviews that some of his family's acquintances looked down on him for becoming an idol? I wouldn't be surprised if he thought of people like that when singing that song. ^-^
(Though the "how many girls did you get?" part seriously cracked me up. It's such a guy argument. XD)
I think this is my favorite Sho solo 8D
Interesting change of theme here..thank you translating :)
This is my favorite Sho solo, too.
I knew there was a reason why I loved Sho >_>
Haha, thanks!
Though I always thought he was saying, I must run all the way... heh
this song is such a powerful song now - bless Sho-chan for this! and yes, he has us all the fans...millions of girls to be exact, right? lol
I heard this song before and really like it
This is my favorite Sho solo and it was sad that I never fully understood it. The lyrics are amazing.
during the concert's video clip,
are they their senpais in entertainment world,
or just some random guys? =p
haha..just wondering though..
... U-Unchi FTW!
I wonder how Japanese fans and non-Japanese fans who can read and understand Japanese would react if they never changed it. Angry Sho singing passionately about ... poop?! :D;;
He'd probably get away with it 'cause he's sucha dorky heartthrob.
A-And I never listened to this song before. It's playing right now ... and I must say that Sho should look into the J-Rock field. Srsly. ♥
He did always say he was a fan of X Japan and Luna Sea. Sometimes it shows, and it's pretty darned cool. :o ...But. KEEP AIBA AWAY FROM JROCK/VKEI. >___> Ahem... inside joke on Hitsuji o Kazoe. VERY DANGER! *runs*
...I'm SO gonna watch that Utaban today. It sounded hilarious. Plus, it's already being requested. XD
H-He's so cuticle. I'd let him set me on fire any time. *cough*
Happy me bribes you with some pretty heavy cookies.. ;)
~Runs of to listen Anti Anti all night (who needs sleep anyway?)~
Anyway, 質問があるんですけど、聞いていいの? How did you come to the conclusion of Anti-Anti? (just curious). And this may not be part of the lyrics, but I've been trying to work out what the guys have been saying for a while. I've got guy1 saying あ、嵐、いや、興味ないっすね, What does the other guy say?
Anyway, I don't see how you have trouble with English. I like this translation (and all I've read so far). Thank you
To be honest, I'm still not 100% sure what the second guy in the intro said. :x I did a lot of google searching to see how Japanese fans heard it, but even that turned up several different opinions, and all of them sounded different from what I was hearing myself. I checked it again since you brought it up, though... and I think originally I was hearing "Johnny'sでhip hopって言うもんねぇ" or something like that... but now that I listen again, it might be "Johnny'sでhip hopって言うのもねぇ" ...in which case an edit becomes necessary. x_x Blasted unclear echoing random guy drowned out by music! ...ahem, anyway *edits post*
Well, English isn't where I have problems... my issue is with speaking. ^^; On the computer I have plenty of time to think and check over everything I say/translate before anyone reads it, but speaking out loud is another story, lol...
For this guy2 thing 迷惑かけてごめんね. I'd check with my jap friends, but now I have a short holiday and I'm back home without japanese buddies(but I might get around asking what they hear later). Guy2 will never know how much confusion he's caused.
Reading what you've got and listening to the song, I'd go with you're second sentence...keeping in mind my 'experience' in Japanese, and I'm the one who asked.
Speaking's a tough component out of the four. But throughout high school listening exams was the toughest for me. So if you've got that I think speaking's just a matter of time and practise.
i just watch the AAA in dome and i was like.. why have i never heard this song before!! so search and search in the cds and i was like maybe i have the title wrong.. so i google it and TADA! here you are ♥♥♥ dont know why i didnt begin with my friend list.. any who...
